The memory cart. A sensory journey through migration.
KOUTCHI is born from a memory: that of the goods cart generations of Moroccans have pushed through cities, souks, and borders. The cart as vehicle of economic survival, exile, return. The work translates this bodily memory into an immersive experience.
The visitor pushes a real physical cart — instrumented with force sensors (HX711). The cart's weight, resistance, and inertia trigger 6 narrative stations in VR. Duration: ~12 min. Upon exit, a thermal printer delivers a unique receipt — a fragment of the story crossed.
