Thread is the ancestor of the pixel. An arcade terminal that generates infinity.
DERB.EXE is a machine for creating unique Amazigh patterns. The installation embodies the idea that traditional textile arts — knotting, weaving, interlacing — are the first forms of programming. The pixel descends from the cross-stitch.
An arcade terminal (joystick + buttons) invites the visitor to compose generative patterns in real time. Each interaction produces a unique, never-reproducible pattern. Accessible from age 6. Works 100% offline.
Technical configuration and logistics available on request. Contact us to receive the complete specification sheet adapted to your space.
From age 6. Standalone format: no mediation required, the game guides. Optional workshop 'from pixel to thread' (textile/code/mathematics links).
Available formats: temporary exhibition, long-term loan, acquisition, limited edition. Pricing on request.
